Black History Month
February is Black History Month, a time to reflect on and celebrate the rich history and contributions of African Americans to our nation. Did you know it began as Negro History Week in 1926, created by Carter G. Woodson? Later expanded to a month-long observance in 1976, it now coincides with the birthdays of Frederick Douglass and Abraham Lincoln. Let's use this month to learn, listen, and honor the stories that have shaped our world. #BlackHistoryMonth #BHM #BlackHistory
