🐾 From Cougars to Wildcats: A Sneak Peek at the Future!
Our Camden Middle School 8th Grade Cougars took a huge leap toward their future yesterday! They traded the middle school halls for a day at Camden County High School, getting an exclusive look at the incredible opportunities waiting for them next year.
From leadership and arts to hands-on trades, our students explored a variety of pathways including:
Ag & Leadership: FFA 🚜
Business & Marketing: DECA 📈
The Arts: Drama & Performing Arts 🎭
Skilled Trades: Construction, Welding, Automotive, and Architecture Design 🛠️
Service & Discipline: NJROTC ⚓
...And many more!
It was an inspiring day of discovery, and we couldn’t be prouder of the curiosity and excitement our Cougars showed. The countdown to becoming a Wildcat has officially begun!

Today at Camden Middle School, our hallways were filled with gratitude and meaningful connections during our "Circle of Trust" activity!
As part of our Sources of Strength program, students and staff took a moment to identify a "Trusted Adult" in the building—someone they know they can turn to for support, advice, or just a listening ear.
What Happened Today:
Reflection: Students wrote personal notes expressing their appreciation for their chosen adult.
The Connection: Students hand-delivered their notes along with a strand of beads, a visible symbol of the strength and bond between them.
The Impact: These small tokens represent a big reality—having at least one trusted adult at school is a critical factor in student resilience and success.
We are so proud of our students for opening up and our staff for being the pillars of support our Cougars need every day. 🐾
Why It Matters:
Research shows that when students feel connected to an adult at school, they feel safer, perform better academically, and are more likely to seek help when they need it. We aren't just building students; we're building a community.
