With students returning to schools in one week, Camden County Schools welcomed 112 new employees at New Teacher Orientation. New teachers heard from district leaders, Superintendent Dr. Tracolya Green, and well-known motivational speaker and Certified Financial Planner, Dale Alexander.
Breakfast was graciously provided by Georgia's Own Credit Union's Kingsland and St. Marys branches and St. Marys Realty.
Many businesses and organizations joined us to welcome our new teachers, giving out free goodie bags. We want to thank Georgia's Own Credit Union, St. Marys Realty, Watson Realty Corp., Realtors, Jackie Frye and Tatum Taylor, Corebridge Financial, TDS Telecom, Delta Kappa Gamma, Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE), Georgia Association of Educators (GAE), Friends of Crooked River State Park, and Family Connection Camden for their unwavering support of our educators.
All teachers will return to schools on Wednesday, July 31. Open House will be held at all schools on Friday, August 2 - High School (11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.), Elementary Schools (3:30p.m.-5:30 p.m.), Middle Schools (5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.). Students will return to schools on Tuesday, August 6.
